Hasmukh Mehta (Dharmendra), a wealthy businessman angrily snatches his wife’s expensive necklaces, and tosses it out of the window to prove his point that he is not a miser. The necklace hits Meena (Mallika Sherawat), Mehta’s neighbour and she asks for compensation. Hasmukh buys her diamond earrings and rumours of his alleged affair with her begins. What follows is a comedy of errors.
