CBS has renewed “The Big Bang Theory” for an additional three years, taking it into the 2016-2017 season. The Thursday series is TV’s top-rated comedy among adults 18-49. The series, currently in its seventh season, is averaging 19.8 million viewers per week. The announcement puts the comedy as CBS’ first scripted pickup for next season.
Chris Pine was arrested for drunk driving in New Zealand. The Star Trek star was pulled over after attending a wrap party. Pine is due to make his first court appearance in the case on Monday. Pine has been in New Zealand filming the movie “Z for Zachariah,”
Kate Upton is the new face of Express. Upton is the first celebrity spokesperson to appear for Express in the past decade. The supermodel will kick off her relationship with Express on Thursday, where she will host the spring runway show at The Raleigh hotel in Miami Beach her ads will make their debut in the fall.
